In the electric vehicle industry, demand for variable speed newlinemotor drives with long-term stability and high transient performance has newlineincreased (EV). Many industrialised drives rely on electric motors, which are newlinean important part of any business. In contrast, the Permanent Magnet newlineBrushless Direct Current Motor (PMBLDCM) and its usages are widely newlineaccepted due to its applications like in agriculture, residential, industrial, and newlineother utility applications is becoming increasingly popular. However, the newlinespeed control of drives is essential part of a drive system and control sector. newlineFurthermore, the soft-computing techniques based approaches are helped to newlineenhance the speed performance of the PMBLDCM drive system to achieve newlinesmooth as well as fine variation of speed and other parameters . Hence, the newlinespeed management of the PMBLDCM drive system is investigated using newlineboth conventional and intelligent controllers along with different soft newlinecomputing techniques are examined using the Matlab/Simulink model. newlineThe speed control of PMBLDC drive is done by a method of newlineclosed loop feedback system. In particular, an electronic commutator is newlineknown as three-phase Voltage Source Inverters (VSI) which has widely newlinecontrolled by using various pulse width modulation (PWM) modulation newlinetechniques. In contrast, the speed regulation of PMBLDC motor drives, newlinedesign and development of the Multi Sector Space Vector Pulse Width newlineModulation scheme (MS - SVPWM) along with various soft computing newlinetechniques owing to improve the performance of drive system for wide range newlineof speed and load varied applications newline
