Abstract
One of the main visions of National Education Policy (2020) is to develop a deep scene of respect towards the Fundamental Rights and fundamental Duties and Constitutional values, bonding with one s country and a conscious awareness of one s role and responsibilities in a changing world.
newlineOur honourable former President Ram Nath Kovind said that campaign will be launched to create awareness about Fundamental Duties among the citizens of the occasion of the 70th anniversary of our Constitution on November 26.
newlineFundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties are two sides of a same coin. It is our duty to all citizens of India to aware about our Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties. Fundamental rights concept taken from the Constitution of USA introduced from the beginning of our Constitution, but the concept of Fundamental Rights are introduced in 1976 by the 42nd amendment, upon the recommendation of Swaran Singh committee, this concept borrowed from the Constitution of Russia. There were ten fundamental duties introduced in the 42nd amendment in 1976, another one introduced in 2002 in 84th amendment. Article 12-35 discussed about our fundamental rights and article 51(A) discussed about fundamental duties of all citizen of India.
