Abstract
Single crystals are fascinated and recognized for their technological revolutions in semiconductor optics and communication fields Invention of nonlinear optical phenomena leads to the search and development of new nonlinear optical materials which are playing a foremost role in the fields of research and industry The present investigation deals with the growth and characterization of organic single crystals of Lasparagine monohydrate admixtured Lthiomalic acid single crystal LAMTM Lasparagine monohydrate single crystal with Lmalic acid as additive LAMM Lasparagine monohydrate single crystal in the presence of acetic acid and single crystal of Lphenylalanine hydrochloride in the effect of Zn2 These crystals are grown from aqueous solution using slow evaporation solution growth technique The concise review on various crystal growth techniques is discussed The slow evaporation solution growth technique and other methods are also discussed In addition it contains introduction about nonlinear optical materials and the classification based on their chemical compositions.
