A Prospective clinical study to assess the efficacy of local application of Kasisadi taila in Breast Augmentation

Abstract

As per Prakriti (Body constitution) concept of Ayurveda each individual is born with specific bodily traits. Body image complex has became increasingly common as people are not content with their original body and possess a notion of discontent this may reflect as withdrawal from social appearance. Acharya sushruta has described ideal size of female breast to be not too large or not too small i.e (stana sampad) . Presents study attempts to explore alternative treatment for underdeveloped breasts . Hence reference of Kasisadi oil from chakradatta was chosen to be worked upon. This study deals with non syndromic isolated cases of underdeveloped breasts. Aesthetics is an evolving field wherein a lot of importance is laid upon improving external appearance of a person. Botox, hair transplant, microthredding, smile correction, fillers, laser surgeries, breast implants are few of the procedures one may take up in order to enhance physical beauty. newlineIn the market many herbal and Ayurvedic preparations are available which claim to cause breast enlargement but original research articles in this particular field are difficult to find. newline newline
