Software quality management and optimal design of software based mechatronics system

Abstract

In this modern digital age software based systems are becoming an essential component in everyday life During the industrial evolution human society has experienced many industrial revolutions Presently the world is undergoing Hi tech industrial revolution with information technology with digitization computer network and artificial intelligence as its main features newlineMechatronics is an emerging technology in the evolutionary process of modern engineering design The role of mechatronics with effective real time software has a very high potential in system development for any application While using electronics based or software based systems in practical applications the quality management of process and product is more important In order to evaluate the system quality many quality factors should be estimated Among various quality factors, reliability is one of the major factors for evaluating the system performance In this research Bayesian model is used to analyze the reliability of the software based system in a newlinesystematic way to clarify failure rates in different modes in the software and hardware levels This attempt helps to take a decision about the reliability of the system before it goes to the application field and also provides sufficient confidence on the reliability of programmable mechatronics systems newline
