The aim of this research is to study the prevalence of pesticides in newlinevegetable production and their hazardous effects on human health among occupationally engaged newlinepopulation, also to access the burden of acute and chronic exposure to pesticides residue level in newlinevegetable and human blood serum which was due to in contact with pesticides in field or newlineindirectly consumption of contaminated diet or by inhalation or by dermal contact. The main newlineoccupation of the people was farming. The study was conducted from 2016 to 2020, the area newlineunder jasra and bara with 70 each village, 2 blocks was selected purposively based on maximum newlinearea covered under vegetable farming the purpose of this study is to (1) To determine personal newlineand socio-economic characteristic of respondents. (2) To evaluate and determine the level of newlineknowledge and extent of use of recommended pesticides in vegetable farming (3) To find out the newlineinfluence of selected independent variable over knowledge and extent of use of pesticides in newlinevegetable farming. (4) To analyze the level of residue of pesticides in commonly used vegetables newlineand vis-a- vis on human health. (5) To trace the constraints faced by the respondents in newlineapplication of recommended pesticides and to suggest measures to overcome their constraints. newlineDescriptive cum analytical research design was used for this study, 240 respondents were newlineselected after reviewing sufficient sources of literature. it has been depicted that there is a gap in newlinethe adaption and behavior of farmers were different in different areas of study this also newlineinvestigates about acute symptoms of self-reported health symptoms related to pesticide newlineexposure.
