Abstract
The term Interactive Visual art refers to Visual art practices that seek
newlineparticipation from the viewer, whose interaction shapes the final outcome. It is a
newlinedynamic and hybrid form of art that responds to its audience and environment.
newlineUnlike traditional art forms wherein the interaction of the spectator is merely a mental
newlineevent, interactivity allows for various types of navigation, assembly, and contribution
newlineto an artwork, which goes far beyond purely psychological activity. Interactive art is a
newlineform of art that involves the spectator physically and psychologically in a way that
newlineallows the art to achieve its purpose. In India, there are certain challenges and
newlinepossibilities for Interactive Visual art practices. This study focused on the ongoing
newlineInteractive art projects from 2000 to 2022 and their impact on viewers.
