Abstract

The Intrusion Detection System (IDS) aggregate method newlineaddresses concerns about optimal decision-making in the presence of newlinemultiple intrusion detection systems. We can now detect both common newlineand unusual attacks through advances in IDS aggregation. The newlineexperimental study carried out to demonstrate the development of newlinedetection of attacks by hybrid IDS was therefore described. To determine newlinewhether a hybrid IDS would be required several IDS were first evaluated newlineand analyzed. We provide several criteria to evaluate the hybrid IDS. The newlineinformation used for the experimental purpose and its value were newlinereviewed. This research addresses issues related to separate IDS and newlineestablishes the need to aggregate multiple IDS. The aggregation of newlinemultiple IDSs provides benefits in terms of accuracy and reliability of a newlinesecure Internet environment in addition to relevant outcomes. newlineThe main objective of this research would be to reduce the newlinenumber of false alarms and significantly increase detection results by newlinecombining information from multiple IDS. To adequately explain the newlineacceptance of aggregate in increasing the efficiency of hybrid IDS, this newlineresearch explains the rationale for aggregation. The practical viability of newlineincreasing capacity through enhanced IDS aggregation has been newlinedemonstrated by the features of detection systems and the implementation newlineof development-related concerns. It has also chosen the threshold limits newlinefor the IDS and efficiency can be improved in the detection of common newlineand unusual attacks. This study describes numerous sets of data (real-time newlineintrusion prevention benchmark databases, such as NSL-KDD, and newlinevi newlineUNSW-NB15; KDD CUP 99 data sets) including efficient methods for newlineidentifying different networking attacks. The enhanced database that newlinesupports the connection that works best for IDS applications proposed in newlinethis research to achieve better detection performance. The results of the newlineexperiment showed the ability of the proposed technique substantially newlinerecognize new attacks. The proposed method of enhancing
