dc.description.abstractThe Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process and newlinebehavioral model that helps organizations streamline process improvement and newlineencourage productive, efficient behaviors that decrease risks in software, product newlineand service development. The CMMI starts with an appraisal process that newlineevaluates three specific areas: process and service development, service newlineestablishment and management, and product and service acquisition. It s designed newlineto help improve performance by providing businesses with everything they need newlineto consistently develop better products and services. CMMI focuses on improving newlineprocesses in an organization. CMMI aims at powerful process improvement newlinemechanism using best practices and main goal is organizational excellence in newlinesoftware development. The objective of this work is to implicate CMMI newlineapplications and implications across domain in-order to improvise the quality of newlinethe organization. This research exploits various models of CMMI ontology and RCMM newlineand identifies the existing research gaps between the conceptual and newlinepractical handling of these models and an extended framework is been suggested newlinefor handling the process and project outcomes. This investigates various avenues newlineof CMMI in alignment with modeling CMMI in various dimensions like newlinedevelopment, project management, process management and model structure for newlinecontinuous representation, staged representation along with maturity levels of newlineCMMI. Thus this works elaborates a detailed study about the applications of newlineCMMI over the emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Testing and newlineexploited the implications of CMMI over identifying the functional factorization newlineover the project management and process management, CMMI over evaluating newlinethe quality management of project and defining an intelligent fuzzy management newlinesystem to evaluate the cost management in-lieu with various project and its newlinestrategies. We next survey AI techniques and investigate how to improve our newlineCMMI processes using those techniques.
