| dc.description.abstract | Human behaviour inherently determines what should be attended to, and therefore newlinelearning through observation. Relevant information is attended over irrelevant newlineinformation. Attending to particular information is contingent upon agencies of individual newlineand contextual significance. The notion that anxious people are more sensitive to selective newlineprocessing of danger is consistent with the fact that they pay more attention to threatening newlinewords. Selective attention toward threatening stimuli expressions has been found to newlineprecipitate and maintain biased attentional processing. However, the automaticity of this newlinebias is under debate. In the present study, we aimed to examine that the effect of trait newlineanxiety on biased attentional processing for different level of threatening verbal stimuli. newlineThe attentional processing task was performed under low, moderate and high threatening newlinestimuli conditions with different level of trait anxious participants. newline | |
