Quinoline Based Multifunctional Organic Materials Structure Photophysical and Electrochemical Properties and Application in Bioimaging

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the development of quinoline-based novel newlinemultifunctional organic materials. Such materials have attracted considerable interest in newlinerecent years, owing to their exceptional capacity to offer customized properties newlineappropriate for a wide range of applications. A comprehensive review of the literature has newlinebeen presented in chapter 1. The original research works carried out are divided and newlinepresented into three chapters, 3 5. The primary objectives of this research were to derive newlinein-depth knowledge of novel multifunctional organic materials regarding their synthesis, newlineelucidation of crystal and electronic structures, exploration of their photophysical, and newlineelectrochemical properties, and establish the suitability of their applications in biosensing newlineand bioimaging. newlineChapter 3 discusses the light-driven photochemical reactions in the solid state newlineas an eco-friendly method for synthesizing stereospecific products.
