Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) isa system where the transmitters and there receivers are equipped with multiple antennas. This has proved to be a breakthrough in wireless communication system and has offered a new degree of freedom in the spatial domain to wireless communications. Thereafter, MIMO has become a part of many modern wireless communication standards like Long Term Evolution(LTE ) Advanced, WiMAX and Wireless LAN. However, the uses of MIMO in small size nodes are used in wireless a cellular network which is a challenge. In the future cellular deployments, MIMO relays will be joined by distributed antenna systems and fem to cells so this challenge can be overcome. This concept proves that transmitting users share each other antennas to give a virtual MIMO concept. MIM Orelay systems provide a high capacity of MIMO communication with the coverage extension capability of relay transmission as the next generation will use this for providing better coverage of high data rate services .The present study involves the comparison of the performance of bidirectional relay networks with and without channel oding scheme for multiple antennas. When physical layer network coding applied at the relay node reduces the number of time slots to two ,it provides data exchange between the source nodes in a short time. The Transmit Antenna Selection(TAS)is done at the source nodes and the BER analysis is performed at the relays, as this system has significant application in mobile communication, is a truly heterogeneous network newline
