Abstract

The aim of this study is to trace the historical development of Indian English fiction from earliest time till date. This study aims to analyse the use of myth and history in Indian English fiction with special reference to the selected novels of Raja Rao, Salman Rushdie and Amitav Ghosh. This study draws a comparison among these writers and explores their thematic patterns and narrative style in context of myth and history. newlineIn Indian English Fiction, myth and history have always been the rich sources of inspiration for authors.
