Green synthesis of some potential Heterocyclic compounds using deep eutectic Solvents

Abstract

This thesis work deals with the study on green synthesis of some potential newlineheterocyclic compounds using deep eutectic solvents. A former part of the work newlinedescribed in this thesis deals about the preparation of deep eutectic solvents of Glucose- newlineUrea and Choline Chloride-Glucose. Further, the stability of these deep eutectic newlinesolvents is studied. Later part of the work deals about the synthesis of different newlinederivatives of Piperidin-4-one with Glucose-Urea and Choline Chloride-Glucose DESs. newlineSince the entire thesis work is centred on the efficient application of deep eutectic newlinesolvents in the organic transformation against the volatile organic solvents. Piperidin- newline4-ones exhibit different pharmacological activities within the broad range of newlineheterocyclic compounds that have been studied for the production of pharmaceutically newlinesignificant molecules. Such important piperidine-4-one derivatives are synthesised newlineusing an inexpensive deep eutectic solvent, it is felt appropriate to provide a very brief introduction to deep eutectic solvents and piperidin-4-one compounds. Exhaustive newlinereviews, research articles and books are available on these subjects. newline
