Nowadays, due to the heavy industrialisation and population, the newlinequality of water is highly disturbed and unfit for our domestic application. newlineNow the water is said to be polluted water. Inorder to solve the pollution newlineproblem various techniques are adopted. Recently, the techniques used are newlineadsorption, isolation, filtration, chemical reactions such as oxidation and newlinereduction and electrochemical methods. Among these filtrations by using newlinemembrane provides high quality drinking water. For filtration purpose, the newlinemembrane material must have low cost, enough mechanical strength, newlinehydrophilicity and antimicrobial activities. For filtration, polysulphone, newlinepolyamide, polyimide, PVDF, polyetherketone etc., like polymers are used as newlinemembrane material. They are acting as a good membrane. But the cost of the newlinemembrane is very high. Moreover, antimicrobial properties are not available newlinewith them. In order to outwit these technical problems, the present research newlinewas designed and successfully carried out. Hence, the main target of the newlinepresent research work is fabrication of low-cost membrane with high pure newlinewater flux and with required antimicrobial, hydrophilicity and mechanical newlinestrength. Above all, the cost and availability of the material should be cheaper newlineand abundant. By keeping this idea in mind, the resent research work was newlinedesigned and this is the novelty of the present investigation. newlineIn this work, USPER was chosen as an economically cheaper newlinemembrane material. Because the cost of the material is very low when newlinecompared with polysulfone, or polyimide or polyether ketone or PVDF. The newlinenano Sand which contains Al2O3 and SiO2 and bio-resource material was newlineconsidered as a filling material. newline
