Elie Wiesel has been acknowledged as an influential writer of the post newlineholocaust literature. This research work makes an attempt to examine The newlineApocalypse of war in the select novels of Elie Wiesel . The select novels include newlineNight, Day, Dawn, The Gates of the Forest and The Town Beyond the Wall which newlinelargely focus on the brutalities of the holocaust and its aftermath. This research work records the repercussions of war and they are used newlineas a guide to understand the atrocities committed in the concentration camps during newlinethe holocaust. newlineMany of the critics agree that he has expressed his distress against violence newlineand hatred of the holocaust in a commendable way through his works. The most newlinenotable themes he had handled are the influence of the horrors of past memory in newlinepresent, the post holocaust future of victims, dilemma in acceptation and rejection of newlinegod. His works projected holocaust during The Second World War as a catastrophe newlinejust like the apocalypse which would end the existence of all living beings.
