Abstract
A considerable number of speakerrecognition activities are being
newlinecarried out in industries national laboratories and universities Several
newlineenterprises and universities have carried out intense research activities in this
newlinedomain and have come up with various generations of speakerrecognition
newlinesystems Those institutions include ATT and its derivatives Bolt Beranek
newlineand Newman the Dalle Molle Institute for Perceptual Artificial Intelligence
newlineSwitzerland MIT Lincoln Labs National Tsing Hua University Taiwan
newlineNippon Telegraph and Telephone Japan Rutgers University and Texas
newlineInstruments TI Sandia National Laboratories National Institute of Standards
newlineand Technology the National Security Agency etc. have conducted evaluations
newlineof speakerrecognition systems but the optimal result is yet to be obtained So
newlinehere we have developed algorithms using self organizing systems like cellular
newlineautomata for noise filtering and reconstruction of speech data of a speaker whose
newlinevoice data under test which is already compressed to 50 of its original data
newlinesize and then use traditional techniques to identify the speaker
