Abstract

Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is the major causative organism for tuberculosis. It is one of the major causes of death worldwide. Every year the world shows around 9 million new TB cases. Moreover, every year around 2 million people die because of this pathogen. There are cases, where some of them do not cure properly. Even if they cure, the disease relapse after certain period of time. Recently, there are an increase of cases mostly due to MDR TB. It is evident for other reports that, host genetic composition, immune system, habitat and nutrition plays a major role while managing tuberculosis infection.
