There are several causes for companies to fail, including a lack of entrepreneurial intentions, skills and competencies or other factors. As a result, in order to lead the flagship of entrepreneurship, it is also necessary to instil willingness, entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial competencies in the next generation. The Government of India has mandated entrepreneurship education at the senior secondary and higher education levels, with the same goal in mind as before. Additionally, the Ministry of Human Resource Development collaborates on these entrepreneurship education programmes in order to synergize the entrepreneurial ecosystem via practical exercises and exposure through multiple platforms. In order to instil skills and harness the current potential of young in the direction of entrepreneurial growth, the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, began numerous programmes and schemes and also established a distinct ministry, the Ministry of Skill Development. A number of training centres have been established to assist young people in launching their own businesses with the assistance of entrepreneurial expertise and handholding mentorship programmes. The overall goal of these activities is to empower the younger generation to become self-sufficient and competitive in the labour market. The overall goal of the research is to get an understanding of the entrepreneurial intentions, skills, and competencies of students enrolled in higher education institutions (HEIs) in India. The current study, titled quotA Study of Entrepreneurial Intentions, Skills, and Competencies among Students of Higher Education Institutions in India, quot seeks to determine the levels of various variables, as well as the relationships between the variables, among students of higher education institutions in India, who serve as the research sample. Many different approaches are routinely employed in research, including historical, experimental, and survey methodologies, among others.
