Optimization of ingredients in Sustainable concrete with sisal fiber Using taguchi method

Abstract

The infrastructural development upgradation of the country is mainly based on newlinethe construction industry. In the construction industry cement plays vital role newlineand extensively utilized material due to the property of adaptability. To newlineenhance the property of the cement the conventional ingredients in the cement newlineas cement, fine aggregate (FA) and coarse aggregate (CA) with high quality is newlinepreferred. In the enhancement process sustainable material called Fly-ash, MSand, newlineSisal fiber are mixed in various percentages with the conventional newlineconcrete material. The major objectives to be fulfilled in the construction newlineindustries are cost and duration. To achieve these objectives and optimization newlinemethod called Taguchi optimization is used. First chapter explains about the newlineintroduction of optimization of ingredients in sustainable concrete with sisal newlinefiber using Taguchi method. Second chapter explains about the literature newlinereview on sustainability of the concrete materials, survey on optimization newlinemethod, work carried out using statistical analysis and also the confirmation newlineexperiments carried out. Third chapter describes about the materials utilized newlineto recover the possessions of the cement and also utilized in the optimization newlineprocess. The sustainable materials Fly-ash, M-Sand, Sisal fiber is described in newlinethis chapter with suitable diagrams and the properties of the sustainable newlinematerials are tabulated.
