Diplomacy is the facet of a country. It is serving the worldly nations since forever. Diplomacy is a political tool used to change the perspective and influence the fellow nations to achieve their targets and goals. It is used to maintain peace and to resolve issues and conflicts through dialogues. However the narratives are changing now, traditional diplomacy is evolving to public/digital or e-diplomacy. The people officiating the dialogues in traditional diplomacy are officials of the states only in person and in e-Diplomacy the tools of media are being used. These methods are quick and have a potential to reach vast audiences, the connection established with the use of digital diplomacy is far lived. Because the world has seen boom in the internet technologies there is a shift in the perspective about using the digital platform to convey the interests of the nation to people globally through e-Diplomacy. This research aims at defining the effectiveness of e-Diplomacy that can benefit India across various platforms and a proposal how could it be achieved. It will also focus on the areas that are to be majorly covered under e-Diplomacy. The paper will work through providing arguments as to how successful the use of e-Diplomacy is, in context to its use by developed nations likes US, UK. newline
