Cluster Based Flood Reduction And Selfish Node Detection to Improve Open Shortest Path First LSA Algorithm

Abstract

In the contemporary communication networks, Routing protocol is captivating a vibrant role. Each routing protocol diverges from each other by means of performance. In the perspective of routing protocol performance, each of them has diverse architecture, adaptability, route processing delays as well as convergence competencies. For the real-time application, the preeminent routing protocol in the midst of different routing protocols is Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). OSPF uses shortest path always to forward packets. The alternate paths may be less congested. But OSPF will not favor it. So, it may lead to escalation in traffic in OSPF. newline
