dc.description.abstractnewline- India is agro based country the requirements of food is more as population is high Sugar cane crop is produced more in many states of India. Maharashtra is one of the biggest sugarcane producer. Western belt of Maharashtra is contributing more in sugarcane farming Obviously, sugar cane factory are more and spent wash production is also more. Distillery waste, specifically spent wash, is a significant environmental concern due to its high organic load, hazardous pollutants, and deep brown color. newlineThe disposal of spent wash in environment leads to: newlineSoil and water pollution, Adverse effects on aquatic life, Environmental regulations for wastewater treatment, Conventional treatment methods are often ineffective, costly, or unsustainable. There is a need to treat a spent wash by eco-friendly way to reduce the pollution and improve the environmental conditions. This research explores the potential of microorganisms to provide an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for treating spent wash. Microorganisms provide an effective method for degradation and decolorization of distillery spent wash. The need for natural, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions for waste treatment. newlineThe aim of this research is Cent percent satisfactory and ecofriendly degradation and decolorization of distillery waste. newline
