Abstract

newline ix newlineABSTRACT newlineThe heterogeneous network is the computer and other devices connecting newlinenetworks with the various operating systems and other protocols. In worldwide, the newlineheterogeneous network is to be used for various wireless networks using various newlineaccess technologies. The mobile ad hoc networks are most popular techniques used in newlinereal time environment. newlineThe quality of services is to be defined as the network ability which is to newlineprovide the various services to the various types of the network traffic. Ad hoc newlinenetworks which consist of mobile nodes have become essential means of newlinecommunication and possess more suitable characteristics for collaboration with newlineemerging technologies. Ad hoc networks do not require centralized control newlinemechanism and infrastructure for their functioning. Vehicle Ad Hoc networks need an newlineeffective routing technique to address network layers parameters to improve the newlinepacket delivery ratio, traffic density, and packet delivery duration for any unexpected newlinevehicle movement. This work has endeavored, by changing the standard OLSRprotocol, newlineto create a new VANET routing scheme called Energy-efficient multipoint newlinerelay link optimized routing protocol. newlineThis work has two parts: The first part strengthened the OLSR predicting node newlinedevelopment strategy by using real-time position information to classify nodes. On newlinethe NS-2 platform, the proposed approach was applied and evaluated. We have newlineestimated various quality device parameters latency, packet delivery, efficiency, newlineoverhead management of valid correlations. The fitness results reveal that the newlineEEMPR-link optimized routing protocol methodology introduced beats OLSR by newlineconsidering specific routing criteria into consideration. newlineThe second work is focused on establishment of routing protocol that includes newlinea novel and reliable routing path selection mechanism based on multiple metrics such newlineas received signal strength, Signal to Interference Plus Noise Ratio (SINR), Bit Error newlineRate (BER), signal intensity, and transition frequency. The proposed path
