dc.description.abstractCement is a crucial material used in the building sector, and its manufacturing is an energy-consuming process that releases a significant amount of greenhouse gases, which increases global warming. Cement production accounts for approximately 8% of human-induced carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. To reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions during the production of cement, cement industries manufacture blended cements, which are comprised of supplementary cementitious materials (SCM), such as slag, natural pozzolan, fly ash, and limestone. SCM is utilized for the replacement of cement, not only to reduce the cement content, but also to enhance the characteristics of concrete. Each SCM has its own merits and demerits. Therefore, by utilizing several SCMs, the deficiency of one material can be countered by another material When these SCMs are employed, the amount of cement manufactured is reduced, resulting in an environmentally friendly material newline
