dc.description.abstractnewline Abstract (Max: 300-400 words) * -------------------- The global COVID-19 pandemic has posed unprecedented challenges, profoundly affecting individuals across various sectors. This research focuses on understanding the work-life balance dynamics among women faculty members in selected higher education institutions in Bhopal during the pandemic. newlineThe study explores demographic profiles, including age, education, marital status, family size, income, residence, and work-related factors like experience, workdays, and hours per day. It studies these factors to reveal intersections between personal attributes and work-life balance. newlineThe research investigates influential factors affecting work-life balance, emphasizing challenges faced by female faculty members. Key factors include workload, career commitments, job security, stress, technology, growth opportunities, working environment, rewards, social responsibilities, and gender discrimination. newlineIt identifies major challenges faced by female faculty members during the pandemic, such as concerns outside office hours, extended work hours, domestic responsibilities, fatigue, timing of meetings, lack of career development, role conflicts, and job insecurity. newlineAdditionally, the research explores measures to enhance work-life balance, like holidays, flexible hours, maternity/paternity leave, family support, and wellness programs. It rigorously tests hypotheses related to factors influencing work-life balance and the impact of policies and demographics. The study contributes valuable insights into the challenges faced by women faculty members during the pandemic, highlighting the interplay between personal and professional aspects. Findings are significant for academic institutions and policymakers aiming to implement supportive measures for women faculty members post-pandemic. newline
