Replacement of traditional masonry materials such as natural stones, fired clay newlinebricks and concrete blocks have become imperative in recent years due to heightened newlineconcerns over natural resources, energy consumption, cost efficiency and newlineenvironmental impacts. Construction using earth is considered as an environmentally newlinefriendly option to promote sustainability concept and to minimize ecological impacts. newlineHowever, inherent drawbacks in earth materials such as low strength, high water newlineabsorption and reduced durability often form setbacks in their wide application in newlineconstruction. This research aims to investigate the variation in engineering properties newlineand internal structure of stabilized blocks modified using municipal solid waste newlineincineration bottom ash (MSWIBA) and sisal fiber (SF) for producing sustainable newlinemasonry materials. A comprehensive literature review on earth construction was newlineconducted to identify research gaps and establish research objectives. The primary newlineobjective of the research work was focused on characterization of materials such as newlinesoil, ordinary portland cement, MSWIBA and SF newline
