Power solutions are essentially available in various forms in each and newlinesuch power solutions creates an opportunity for designers to seek newlineadvancements in power electronic interfaces (PEIs), which play a crucial role newlinein power conversion. Due to its rapid intrusion, it offers blooming areas for newlinethe researchers to explore in various aspects, like customizing the size, cost, newlinereliability, and also maintaining power factor (PF) close to unity using several newlineactive power factor correction (APFC) topologies. One of the most active newlineresearch explorations in these areas includes the appropriate design of the newlineAC-DC power conversion circuits to dispense a better quality of power to end newlineusers with effective control mechanisms. Also, the increased awareness of newlinepower quality (PQ) promotes the development of various power factor newlinecorrection (PFC) topologies for power solutions. newlineFurther, the overall cost of a power solution depends on the device newlinecount, sensing circuitry and control strategies employed. Employing many newlinetwo-stage configurations for PFC involves a greater number of part counts newlineand control circuit burdens. Later on, several researchers show keen interest newlinein realizing different single stage PFC structures to reduce circuit component newlinecounts and enhance the PQ metrics with uncomplicated control techniques. newlineTherefore, different modified Sepic configurations are introduced in this newlineresearch work to retain the wave shaping feature at the mains with less current newlinetotal harmonic distortions (THD) and high efficiency. newline
