| dc.description.abstract | Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) are the prominent cause of human morbidity and newlinemortality around the globe. There is crucial demand for the advanced techniques to identify the cardiac abnormalities accurately. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is the newlinenoninvasive and cost-efficient standard method to diagnose the subjects with cardiac abnormalities. Due to unknown mechanisms, complex nature and concealed newlinenonlinearities present in the ECG signal, it is very difficult and tedious to discriminate the normal and abnormal classes by means of manual screening. A Decision Support System (DSS) can significantly help in the accurate and timely detection of the cardiac health newlineusing ECG signal. In this study, the DSS for automated detection of fatal classes of ECG beats namely arrhythmia, tachycardia and Myocardial Ischemia (MI) is proposed. newline | |
