Abstract

Entity-linking research is a linking process of mentioned named entities from the text with their appropriate semantic meaning-matching entities in the knowledge base. In order to deal with the data growth there is a tool such as knowledge base is highly needed while addressing the development in data. As knowledge base make it feasible to represent abstract ideas enabling the well-structured information for the representation of actual entities and their relations in this real world becomes very important. Most of the studies are based on general knowledge bases such as Wikipedia and DBPedia. The studies also depend upon the features existing in the Wikipedia-derived knowledge bases. The information in many knowledge bases has an interconnection of multiple types of data objects along with various kinds of connections that are interacting among them. These kinds of knowledge bases are Heterogeneous Information Networks (HIN). The domain-based knowledge bases are represented as heterogeneous information networks. newline
