| dc.description.abstract | The present study revealed the erosion wear resistance of flax/sisal hybrid composites are newlineimproved with the incorporation of SiC nanopowder, whereas in glass fiber hybridized newlineflax/sisal hybrid composites, the erosion wear property is increased. The morphology of newlineeroded surfaces is examined using SEM and possible erosion mechanisms are discussed. newlineFurther, research work was undertaken to investigate the performance characterizations of newlinewind turbine blades (WTBs) made up of flax/sisal hybrid composites hybridized with glass newlinefiber and reinforced with SiC Powder. The performance of these hybrid composite in newlineWTBs are compared with the performance of glass fiber reinforced composite WTBs.
