Improving supercapacitive properties Of copper ferrite nanoparticles with Metal mg ni and zndoping

Abstract

newline The present research work is a study about the enrichment of newlinesupercapacitive features on inclusion of magnesium, nickel and zinc atoms newlineinstead of copper atom in copper ferrite nanoparticles. At different newlineconcentrations, various nanoparticles such as CF (copper ferrite), MCF newline(magnesium-doped copper ferrite), NCF (nickel-doped copper ferrite) and ZCF newline(zinc-amalgamated copper ferrite) have been synthesized in the nanometer newlinerange using a facile microwave combustion method. The diffraction patterns of newlineCF, MCF, NCF and ZCF have been recorded in order to study their crystalline newlinenature. The XRD patterns reveal that they are associated to the cubic crystal newlinestructure. The FTIR spectra of the prepared nanoparticle samples were also newlinerecorded and the peak at 575 cm-1 is attributed to stretching vibrations of newlineFe3+ - O2. The surface morphological investigations were carried out using SEM newlineattached with EDX. The SEM images exhibit nano-sized particle structure with newlineagglomeration. The EDX results disclose that the percentage of metal and Cu newlineobtained matched well with the stoichiometric calculation
