Grid security enhancement using access control models

Abstract

Grid computing is the collaboration of computer resources newlinedistributed across institutional borders to increase the number of computer newlineprocessing cycles and process large amount of data Systems in a grid are newlineloosely coupled and heterogeneous in nature Since idle resources are used to newlinerun grid application with resources distributed across multiple organizations newlinethe total cost of ownership is very low This makes grid computing attractive newlineand finds applications in many high computation applications including newlinemathematical modeling climate modeling and high energy physics newlineA group of organizations and individuals can pool their available newlineresources to form a virtual organization VO which can be used to provide newlinegrid services for all its members on agreed terms and policies The VO so newlineformed is integrated for a common purpose across various administrative newlinedomains newline newline
