Abstract

Due to the extensive growth of World Wide Web (WWW) and the newlinedevelopment of next-generation internet, transmission of huge volume of data newlinevia wireless network becomes undemanding. But the transmission of sensitive newlineinformation through communication channel becomes potentially vulnerable. newlineThis thesis provides a broad analysis on concealing a data inside images and newlinevideos with various data hiding scheme. The modern evolutionary newlinecomputational techniques have challenges in finding the pixels with less newlinedistortion due to the lack of fitness function and improper searching of newlineoptimal pixels. Fruit Fly Optimization hybridized Improved Seeker (FOIS) newlinescheme is proposed to achieve a high quality stego image as it selects the newlineoptimal pixels of the block. A comparative study of FOIS algorithm with the newlineexisting encryption algorithms such as Rivest Cipher (RC4), Rivest Shamir newlineAdleman (RSA) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) are also newlineinvestigated. Further, to enhance the capacity of FOIS algorithm, the dual newlinelayer data hiding algorithm Modulus Function Pixel Value Difference newline(MFPVD) and Least Significant Bit (LSB) is used. The secret data ensures newlinesecurity even when being subjected to Regular Singular (RS) and Pixel newlineDifference Histogram (PDH) analysis attacks. Since a video comprises of multiple frames per second, human eye quickly passes over all the frames in a unit time and so the possibility of newlinedetecting distortion in a single frame is minimized. Thus, the data hiding in a newlinevideo outperforms the techniques applied for hiding data in an image. The key newlineframe selection from the cover video is chosen with the intention to enhance newlinesecurity and maintain less error rate. Identification of edge and non-edge newlineregions are performed with the integration of advanced Canny and Fuzzy newlineEdge Detection (CFED) to improve the quality of the obtained stego video, newlinehigh pay load and less processing time. Moreover, to preserve the security and newlinerobustness of the hidden data, the moving objects in all the frames are utilized newlineand its relevant pattern for
