Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are typically deployed in dense
newlineunsupervised environments and the topology of the network might be fixed or
newlinedynamic. Since the battery power of the sensor node is restricted, recharging
newlineor replacing the battery of a node is a challenging task. The recent research
newlinekey areas in WSN are clustering, routing and energy consumption. Since
newlinesensor nodes are responsible for sensing the environment and data
newlinetransmission. There are high chances of node becoming dead at the earliest.
newlineThe proposed objective aims at increasing the network lifetime and
newlineminimizing energy depletion. Effectual approaches are needed to make WSN
newlinemore useful in real-world. In the first approach, a Hybrid LEACH (Low
newlineEnergy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy)- Jellyfish breathing density algorithm
newlineis proposed for contraction and expansion of cluster and cluster head (CH)
