| dc.description.abstract | In this research the researchers consider replacement of majorly used newlinefuels in order to meet the demand. Among the fuels used, the diesel leads the newlineothers due to its high performance in engine and its high compression ratio. newlineSo it will be a useful study if the alternate fuel for diesel is being newlineconcentrated. Among various alternative fuels, the fuels from Biomass newline(Plants) are promising and renewable. Orange Oil Methyl Ester (OOME) is newlinefound to be the best alternative due to its properties being close to those of newlinediesel fuel. newlineDifferent tests were done to investigate the emission and newlinecombustion properties of a thermal coated diesel engine with a single-cylinder newlineusing orange peel oil fuel. Test results were compared with the diesel fuel newlinebase readings. Besides, the study investigates the ideal fuel injection method, newlinetechniques for reducing NO, and parameter optimization for enhanced newlinebiodiesel production. Also, combustion analyses were performed to research newlinethe functionality of biodiesel and diesel mixture in the single-cylinder diesel newlineengine. newlineIn the first phase of work the investigation that the engine operates newlinewith diesel and bio diesel (OOME) effectively.with diesel as a fuel the engine newlinecan produce 31.4% of thermal efficiency at full load (3.7kW),where as B100 newlineshows 23.87% of thermal efficiency at full load .the emission values such as newlinesmoke,HC,CO for diesel respectively are 40%, 65ppm, 0.33% where as for newlineB100 84%, 91ppm, 1.97%.B100 shows to be inferior in performance and newlineincreased emissions. newline | |
