Abstract

Securing confidential information and ensuring employees follow the established guidelines in the workplace have become a major concern for the management of any organization. Companies have suffered enormous amount of financial loss highly damaging to their reputation and client base due to the breaches of confidential data. Organizations framed information systems security policies (ISSP), borrowing deterrent concepts from traditional criminal law, for employees to follow in order to mitigate threats from insiders.
