Physico chemical Characterization and Immobilization Studies of and#945; Amylase on Green Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles

Abstract

With the advent of new frontiers in biotechnology, there has been increasing demand for newlineenzymes with novel properties. Out of the plethora of enzymes, amylase represents one of the newlinewidely distributed enzyme in nature that have attracted industrial importance. It catalyzes the newlinehydrolysis of and#945;,1-4 glycosidic bonds in starch in random fashion with the retention of and#945;- newlineanomeric configuration to produce sugar, maltose and maltotriose units. The newlinedepolymerization of starch by amylases is the basis for its application in various industrial newlineprocesses. Hence, this has attracted interest to unravel non-conventional, non-utilized and cost newlineeffective source of enzyme using economically effective purification techniques for efficient newlineutilization and#945;-amylase newline
