Wireless Sensor Networks are composed of tiny sensor nodes which are capable of sensing, newlineprocessing and communicating with limited computational resources. Wireless Sensor newlineNetworks are not designed with a fixed infrastructure, therefore the topology of newlinethe network changes continuously based on the sink type, hop count, node type and newlineschedule type. A maximum quantity of sensor nodes are deployed in various applications newlinefor surveillance and monitoring physical and environmental conditions such as firemonitoring, newlinemilitary surveillance, volcano and urban sensing etc.,. Hence, the emerging newlineWireless Sensor Networks applications have a group of stringent prerequisite that include newlinedata aggregation, security and reliability. These requirements pose new challenges in the newlineWireless Sensor Networks that include resource limitations, data redundancy, intrusion newlinedetection, etc. newlineThe various secure data aggregation protocols can be classified into structured and newlinestructure-free based that are capable of minimizing redundant data transmission and can newlinedetect intruders in the network. The structure-free data aggregation protocol does not newlinehave definite fixed structure whereas structure-based data aggregation protocols have newlinespecified infrastructure. Most of the existing structure-based secure data aggregation newlineprotocols elect an aggregator node based on the resource parameter viz., residual energy, newlineEuclidean distance, etc., to aggregate the data but these resources are insufficient. newlineThe Collaborative Secure Data Aggregation protocol utilizes the resources efficiently and newlinepromises to supply data securely to the destination. newlineThe aim of our research work is to design and implement a Collaborative Secure Data newlineAggregation (CSDA) Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks. The data aggregation protocol newlinereduces the redundant data transmissions which inturn utilize energy effectively newlineand increases the network lifetime. The security protocol detects the intruder and avoids newlinethe data transmission among the intruder nodes, resulting in maximum throughput
