In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 60 male kabaddi players were newlinerandomly selected from a pool of players to evaluate the isolated and combined effects of newlinecluster and tabata training on physical and physiological variables from south zone newlinekabaddi players from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The age of the players varied from 18 to 25 newlineyears only. This experimental study was administered to only four experimental groups newlineand one control of 15 kabaddi players. A pre-test on the criterion variables was performed newlineprior to the end of each strength training session and a post-test was conducted at the end newlineof each training session. In order to determine if the pre and post-test means differ newlinesignificantly between the groups, we analyzed data from each group prior to and newlinefollowing the training on the criterion variables. Experiment and control group were newlinecompared using analysis of covariance, or ANCOVA. The post-hoc test namely newlineSchefffe s test was applied to determine the paired mean difference at the significant newlineoccurrence of the F ratio for adjusted test. Each case was evaluated using a confidence newlinelevel of 0.05. Combined training would possibly influence to produced significant newlineimprovement on selected calf girth, thigh girth, cardio respiratory endurance, speed, newlinemuscular strength, vital capacity, resting pulse rate, breath holding time variables among newlinemale kabaddi players newline
