dc.description.abstractInfants discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) are at increased risk for poor neurodevelopment outcomes. Many NICU patients identified as high risk for development delay will face delayed diagnosis due to a lack of specialized providers and assessments. Early diagnosis of motor newlinedevelopment by developing simple tool for early identification and start with early newlineintervention in high-risk infants is required. This study focuses on developing and testing Predictive model for early prediction of developmental delay in High risk NICU Infants After getting ethical approval and CTRI Registration, data of 284 newlineNICU discharged infants of different zones of hospitals of Surat has been collected newlinefor risk factors as independent variable (identified based on Expert consensus and newlineReview of Literature) and Ages and Stages Questionnaire Score was kept as a dependent variable to design the predictive model by linear regression. This formula was used to design a mobile application to calculate the predictor score. Based on designing of the predictive model, a mobile application named Infant Development Predictor was developed for calculation of Infant development at newline6 month and 12 months of age. Testing of the application done by new cohort study newlinewith clinical evaluation as Actual score and both actual and model scores matched to calculate Sensitivity, Specificity, Positive Predictive Value, Negative Predictive newlineValue, and Overall Accuracy of the Mobile Application For 6 month - Fine Motor has the highest Sensitivity (81.81%) Gross motor and Communication have the highest Accuracy (78.52%) Problem Solving has a balanced moderate value, Personal Social has the lowest Sensitivity (55.39%) While For 12 month -Gross Motor has moderate Sensitivity (68.80%) Fine Motor shows relatively high Sensitivity (75.17%) Problem Solving has the lowest Sensitivity (45.16%) Personal Social shows balanced performance with moderate Sensitivity (62.09%) and Specificity (79.38%)
