biotechnological application of biofertilizer for problempaddy soil and crop productivity

Abstract

The current study, which was given the title quotEffect of paddy residue management on soil fertility and crop productivity for sustainable nutrient management in paddy - paddy cropping system, quot was conducted in the progressive farmer field of Gabbur village, which is located in the taluka of Devadurga in the district of Raichur, India, during the kharif and rabi-summer seasons of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. newlineWithin the main plots of the field experiment, there were four different degrees of residue management, and within the sub plots, there were five different levels of nutrient management strategies. newlineThe purpose of the experiments was to determine the most appropriate residue and nutrient management options for increasing the production potentials of paddy, as well as to monitor selected soil properties, nutrient status and its balance, uptake pattern and use efficiencies of various nutrients, and profitability in a paddy-paddy cropping system. newlineThis section provides a summary of the most important results from the aforementioned research. newlineClimate change is to blame for the increased abiotic stress that is being placed on crops, which in turn has led to a decrease in agricultural production. newlineThere are many distinct forms of abiotic and biotic stress factors, such as soil salinity, drought, wind, incorrect temperature, heavy metals, waterlogging, and numerous weeds and phytopathogens, which damage plants and reduce agricultural yield and quality. newline newlineBecause of all of these factors, there has been a shift toward the use of biofertilizers, which provide nutrition through natural processes such as the solubilization of zinc, potassium, and phosphorus; nitrogen fixation; production of hormones; production of siderophores; production of a variety of hydrolytic enzymes; and protection of the plant from a variety of plant pathogens and stress conditions. newlineThey give the nutrients in sufficient quantity that is necessary for good crop growth in order to meet the need of an expanding population all over the globe. newlineAdditiona
