Abstract

Viktor Frankl says, If there is a meaning in life at all, then there must be a newlinemeaning in suffering (88). It becomes necessary, thus, to study trauma and its effects newlineon individuals. Understanding trauma makes a great difference in human lives. For newlinethe sustenance of human life, we inevitably stop, listen and discern the sufferings around. This thesis is an effort to draw attention to a historical, national newlinetrauma captured in/through literary narratives. newline
