dc.description.abstractLivestock is defined as domesticated animals elevate in farming environments for labour and to produce items for consumption and commercial purposes. Among these goods are flesh, eggs, whole milk, animal skin, thread and manure. Consequently, it s comprises of fur-bearing animals, sheep, horses, goat and cattle. Livestock dung, rich in organic material and diverse microbial populations, serves as a catalyst in this process, enhancing the breakdown of complex organic pollutants and improving nutrient removal efficiency. This treatment approach not only contributes to the effective management of wastewater but also offers a sustainable solution for recycling livestock waste, reducing environmental pollution, and producing a safer effluent for discharge or reuse. Aerobic treatment of domestic astewater using livestock dung is an innovative approach that leverages the natural biodegradation capabilities of microorganisms present in animal waste. This method utilizes the aerobic microbial communities in livestock dung to decompose organic material and remove pollutants from domestic waste water. In an aerobic treatment system, oxygen promotes the growth and activity of aerobic bacteria, which metabolize the organic compounds and reduce the pollutants of the domestic wastewater. The integration of livestock dung in aerobic wastewater treatment systems presents an economical and eco-friendly solution for farming and rural communities.
