Abstract
The present investigation aimed to confine the idea of real-time contribution
newlinecontent that is disseminated as it is posted is at the forefront of emerging trends in
newlinesocial networking websites. Even as the popularity of social networking constantly
newlinerises, new users for the generation are often being laid low with social networking
newlineplatforms may also be impacting the way wherein newbie s interact with the era in
newlinepopular and the excess usage of social networking amongst students has been
newlinerecognized to negatively have an effect on their values, social conduct and
newlineintellectual fitness, hence the investigator has taken the present paintings at the
newlineproblem entitled as Study of Influence of Social Networking on Social Values,
newlineSocial Behaviour and Mental Health of Senior Secondary School Students of
newlineGzb, City.
newlineThe study is conducted with the following purposes: To Study the Influence
newlineof Social Networking on Social Values, Social Behavior and Mental Health in
newlinecontext to Gender, Stream and Types of School. To Study the Influence of Stream,
newlineGender and Types of School, and their interactions on Social Networking Usage of
newlineStudents. To find whether there is no significant difference in the mean scores of
newlinesocial values, social behavior and mental health in context to gender, stream and
newlinetypes of school on the basis of usage of social networking. There is no significant
newlineinfluence of gender, types of school and stream and their various interactions on
newlineSocial networking usage of students. The study is essentially descriptive cum survey
newlinestudy, in the present study social networking is considered as independent variable
newlineand social values, social behaviour and mental health is considered as dependent
newlinevariable. 750 Senior Secondary School Students were selected from Ghaziabad City
newlinethrough Stratified Random Sampling Technique.
