Presence of learning disability, a condition marked with gaps in performance and expectation, forms a fertile substrate for psychosocial vulnerabilities among young children diagnosed with this condition. In addition to addressing the academic deficits, there is an immediate need to focus on non-academic areas as well, to strengthen their adjustment, emotional wellbeing and general coping, when faced with daily life challenges. The present research aimed at studying the Impact of Life-skills Education on Adjustment and Emotional Stability of adolescents with Learning Disability. It was a pre-post study conducted in quasi experimental research design. For the purpose of this research, a sample of 300 adolescents (150 learning disabled and 150 non-learning-disabled adolescents) was selected by convenience sampling, followed by a random distribution of LD adolescents in experimental and control group.First phase of the study was aimed at finding if there existed a difference in adjustment and emotional stability of learning disabled and non-disabled adolescents. Pre-test was administered on both the groups (LD and NLD adolescents) using standardized tools Adjustment Inventory for school students (Sinha and Singh, 1998) and Emotional stability Questionnaire (Vohra, 1995). The results indicated a significantly lower emotional stability and adjustment (plt0.01) in adolescents with learning disability than those without it.
