Abstract
Background
newlineAntimicrobial resistance bacteria are the source of a threat to the community and
newlinehospital settings. There are many drug resistant human pathogenic bacteria are
newlinereported from all over world. Extended spectrum of and#946; lactamases producing organism
newlineare increasing and causing more severe infection due to mutation leads to Multi Drug
newlineResistances (MDR), which make treatment difficult.
newlineAim and Objectives
newlineKnowledge of development of pathogen resistance pattern, there antimicrobial
newlinesensitivity pattern as alternative therapy against ESBLand MDR positive patients
newlineconfirmed by phenotypically and genotypically, sample collected at tertiary care
newlinehospitals Dewas district Madhya Pradesh. ESBL genotyping will be useful for
newlinemonitoring the spread of resistance of genes/strain leads to treatment failure.
newlineObjectives
newlineand#61558; Screening of various clinical samples like blood, urine, pus, and sputum
newlinespecimens
newlineand#61558; Isolates different organism and identification done by biochemical test and
newlineconfirmed by automation vitek-2.
newlineand#61558; To evaluate the antimicrobial susceptibility test for preliminary identification
newlineof gram-negative bacterial isolates by Bauer-Kirby disc diffusion method and
newlinemicro dilution methods MICs value by automated machine vivtek-2
newlineand#61558; Identification of ESBLs and MDR organism by phenotypically and confirmed
newlineby genotypically using applicable primers in PCR amplifications.
newlineMaterials and Methods
newlineThe present preliminary research has carried at Doctor s Diagnostic Centre, Dewas
newlineMadhya Pradesh, and India. Collection of clinical samples urine, blood, pus and
newlinesputum, further descriptive advanced research work has completed in Department of
newlineinstitute of biological science Sage University Indore M.P. India. The clinical samples
newlinewere processed for isolation and identification according to standards. Kirby Bauerii
newlinedisc diffusion does antibiotic susceptibility test of isolate organism confirmed by
newlineBroth Micro dilution methods automation vitek2 as per CLSI guidelines. Phenotypic
newlineDetection of ESBLs processed by modified double disk synergy test and combin
