Abstract
The substantial growth of technologies and the requirement for personal data highlights the definition of security policies and proposes security models for enhancing the protection of personal data. Technological growth creates challenges in data securities that are shared through Cloud. The major objective of cloud is that it provides on-demand network access for resource computing with minimal effort. In this research work, Quantum computing is combined with cloud, which can solve various security challenges. This work involves developing Quantum Cryptography based Data Security model in Cloud. The model incorporates Quantum Key Distribution protocol (QKDP) with cloud infrastructure for ensuring data security. The main objective of the work is to provide secure data sharing among the authorized clients devices that need access to the data from the cloud. The data owner encrypts the data using advanced cryptographic techniques and the key through which the data is encrypted will be transmitted between the data owner and the authorized users through Quantum channel. The proposed model implements QKDP for secure key transmission in cloud data access was compared with various existing protocols /schemes such as PDP, AKE, and MAABE based on the processing time, Computation time. The QKDP uses Quantum Entanglement based communications that reduce the computational complexities and provide high security. Moreover, secure data sharing is achieved by proposing four phases of security solutions.
