Abstract

Water reservoirs are contaminated with a high proportion of newlineorganic and inorganic materials that have been released from various newlineindustrial activities. The presence of such toxic pollutants in the aquatic newlineenvironment is considered as the major cause of significant health problems newlinefor the aquatic community. The USEPA (U.S. Environmental Protection newlineAgency) has established permissible limits for all metal contaminants allowed newlinein aquatic reservoirs and drinking water. Beyond the above permissible limits, newlineaccumulation of such toxic pollutants in the living tissues inordinately causes newlinevarious diseases and disorders. newline
