Abstract

newlineThe field experiment was conducted at research farm and forest nursery of College of Forestry, SHUATS. newlinePrayagraj, Uttar Pradesh during the kharif season year 2019-20 and 2020-21. The study was carried out in sixteen newlinetreatments and three replications with among organic manure i.e., 3 different combinations of Cow Manure, Sheep newlineManure, Poultry manure and 5 green manures, i.e., Sun hemp- Crotalaria juncea, Dhaincha-Sesbania aculeate, newlinePongania Pongamia glabra, Neem-Azadirachta indica, Gulmohar-Delonix regia, respectively in both open condition newlineand under Drumstick (Moringa oleifera L.) based Agroforestry system. newlineThe study was conducted to find out the effect of different organic manure and green manure doses on growth newlineand yield of rice While evaluating the rice under Moringa oleifera L based Agroforestry system and Open condition. newlineThe investigational results observed on growth parameters shows that application of (T6) followed by (T10) newlineproduced significantly maximum plant height 105.71cm, number of green leaves plant-1 newline, number of tillers 70.37 hill-1 newline, newlineleaf length 65.48 cm, Leaf Area Index 10.36 (LAI), fresh weight 214.83 gm and dry weight 131.00 gm in open newlinecondition as well as following parameters under Open condition as well as maximum plant height 102.37cm, number newlineof green leaves plant-1 newline, number of tillers 69.27 hill-1 newline, leaf length 61.85 cm, Leaf Area Index 10.47 (LAI), fresh weight newline205.67gm and dry weight 122.50 gm when evaluated with the impact of different manure doses on rice under newlineMoringa oleifera L based Agroforestry system. newlineThe experimental results at harvesting time shows that yield attributes and yield, application of (T6) followed by newline(T10) produced significantly maximum Length of panicle 30.77cm, Number of panicle 64.47 per hill-1 newline, Number of newlinegrains 1259.50 hill-1 newline, Number of effective tillers5.75, Test weight 36.78 g, Grain yield 45.64 q/ha-1 newline, Straw yield 25.23 newlineq/ha-1 newline, Biological yield 70.88 q/ha-1 newline, Harvest Index 64.38 % in open condition as well as at successive stage
